Hi – downloaded and installed the vbox image for mayan edms – great product – but it took me awhile to get the vm operational…

So thought that this information may assist others:

1) Use VM configuration – Linux, 64bit Ubuntu
2) On first boot – run the command
‘sudo rm /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules’
and reboot (root pw for image is edms)

We have a client needing a local install, they need to access in the cloud using there servers. Need to have folder permissions per user group and 5-10 users. I suspect we will scan to a local folder and either FTP the file? or does the system have a watched hotfolder option?

Can you confirm the cost for a vary basic system like this please

We appreciate all the effort put on Mayan EDMS by it author and all the collaboration around the world.

RTM-IT Corp. continues being the organization in Puerto Rico to promote and service Mayan EDMS as one, if not the, best solution for EDMS tool in the marketplace.
